He wants his victory's crown,
He wants his victory's throne,
       For the searching mind of humanity,
       For the crying heart of humanity,
       For the self-giving life of humanity.
Therefore God says to him:
Son, you must win.
If not, your loss is My loss;
Your defeat is My defeat.

SINE, MORAŠ DA USPEŠ
On želi svoju pobedničku krunu,
On želi svoj pobednički tron,
       Za tragajući um čovečanstva,
       Za vapeće srce čovečanstva,
       Za samodajući život čovečanstva.
Stoga mu Bog kaže:
"Sine, moraš da uspeš.
Inače, tvoj neuspeh je Moj neuspeh,
Tvoj poraz je Moj poraz."

Stvarna iskrenost
       Pošteđena je zemaljskog straha.
Stvarna čistota
       Pošteđena je zemaljske nesavršenosti.
Stvarna poniznost
       Pošteđena je zagrljaja neznanja.
Stvarna prosvetljenost
       Pošteđena je plača neuspeha.

Earth-touch makes me patient;
       Therefore
I am grateful to earth.
Heaven-touch makes me compassionate;
       Therefore
I am grateful to Heaven.
God-Touch makes me complete, perfect and absolute;
       Therefore
I am grateful to God.

Dodir Zemlje čini me strpljivim;
       Zato
Sam zahvalan Zemlji.
Dodir Neba čini me samilosnim;
       Zato
Sam zahvalan Nebu.
Božji Dodir čini me potpunim, savršenim i apsolutnim;
       Zato
Sam zahvalan Bogu.

I think of another instrument:
       A good instrument,
       A divine instrument,
       A perfect instrument.
But God tells me that another instrument,
       A good instrument,
       A divine instrument,
       A perfect instrument
Is only a dream.
       Not only my dream
       But
The dream of God's Patience-Sky.

DRUGI INSTRUMENT
Onog trenutka kad me razočaraš,
Ja pomislim na drugi instrument:
       Dobar instrument,
       Božanski instrument,
       Savršeni instrument.
Ali Bog mi kaže da je drugi instrument,
       Dobar instrument,
       Božanski instrument,
       Savršeni instrument
Samo san,
       Ne samo moj san,
       Već
San Božjeg Neba Strpljenja.

MY VITAL AND MY HEART
My vital tells me:
       Love me or I will go away
       Never to return.
My heart tells me:
       Whether you love me or not
       I shall stay in you, for you.
       I shall never return
To the Heaven-Delight
Without you.

Moj vital mi kaže:
       "Voli me ili ću otići
       I nikad se neću vratiti."
Moje srce mi kaže:
       "Svejedno da li me voliš ili ne,
       Ja ću ostati u tebi, za tebe.
       Nikad se neću vratiti
Nebeskom Blaženstvu
Bez tebe."

I have just remembered
My promise to God:
I shall work for
God-Manifestation
On earth.
God has just remembered
His Promise to me:
He will give me
His Infinity's Strength
And His Eternity's Patience.

Upravo sam se setio
Mog obećanja Bogu:
Radiću na
Božjem Ispoljavanju
Na Zemlji.
Bog se upravo setio
Njegovog Obećanja meni:
Daće mi
Njegovu
Beskrajnu Snagu
I Njegovo Večno Strpljenje.
