Only a self-giving devotee
Can have ecstatic confidence
In the depths of his heart.

Jedino posvećenik koji daje sebe
Može da ima ekstatično pouzdanje
U dubinama svog srca.

If we can earnestly
And soulfully meditate,
Then we can easily have
Cheerful confidence.

Ako umemo krajnje iskreno
I duševno da meditiramo,
Onda lako možemo da imamo
Radosno pouzdanje.

Perfect confidence is not
In earth-possession
But in self-illumination.

Savršeno pouzdanje nije
U zemaljskom posedovanju,
Već u prosvetljavanju sebe.

To acquire victory's crown,
One must cultivate
Resolute confidence
In one's spiritual life.

Da bi zadobio krunu pobede,
Čovek mora da razvije
Nepokolebljivo pouzdanje
U svoj duhovni život.

If a seeker is not
Continuously blessed
With a purity-breath,
Then his life
Will unmistakably betray
Arrogant confidence.

Ako tragalac nije
Neprestano blagosloven
Dahom čistote,
Njegov će život nepogrešivo zračiti
Arogantnim samopouzdanjem.

Success on the outer plane
Does not remain a far cry
After the mind has achieved
Solid confidence.

Uspeh na spoljašnjem planu
Ne ostaje daleki vapaj
Kad je um jednom postigao

It is almost an impossible task
To have supreme confidence
In one's aspiration-life.

Pre ostvarenja Boga
Skoro je nemoguće
Imati vrhunsko pouzdanje
U svoj život težnje.

Preterano pouzdanje
I uništenje

And not enjoy confidence
In your obscure and impure vital.

Ako si dobar tragalac,
Potrudićeš se
Da stekneš pouzdanje

A nećeš uživati u pouzdanju
U svoj mračni i nečisti vital.

In the searching mind.

Kad postanem moje

We become the victors
Over ignorance-night
Only when
The sincerity of the mind,
The spontaneity of the heart,
The rapidity of the vital

The purity of the body

Na bojnom polju života
Pobedu protiv noći neznanja
Odnosimo
Tek kad
Iskrenost uma,
Spontanost srca,
Hitrina vitala
I
Čistota tela
Deluju u savršenom jedinstvu.

Sincerity,
I do love you and need you.
But I am telling you
In all sincerity
That I love and need
God's Will Manifestation-Delight
On earth
Infinitely more.
Nay, God's Fulfilment-Smile
Is the only thing
That I sleeplessly need.

Iskrenosti,
Zaista te volim i potrebna si mi.
Ali kažem ti
Sasvim iskreno
Da volim i da mi je potrebno
Blaženstvo Ispoljavanja Božje Volje
Na zemlji
U beskrajno većoj meri.
Štaviše,
Osmeh Božjeg Ispunjenja
Jedino je što mi
Besano treba.

You are morality's
Loftiest height.

Iskrenosti,
Ti si najuzvišenija visina
Moralnosti.

Morality is the excellence
Of the mind, heart and life.
Although spirituality
Is in morality and for morality,
It goes far beyond
Morality's territory-confines.

Moralnost je izvrsnost
Uma, srca i života.
Mada je duhovnost
U moralnosti i za moralnost,
Ona daleko nadilazi
Ograničenja teritorije moralnosti.

The human in us needs
Sincerity's perfect perfection
And
Morality's complete satisfaction.

Ljudskom u nama potrebno je
Savršeno savršenstvo iskrenosti
I
Potpuno zadovoljenje moralnosti.

The divine in us
Also needs the same.
But the divine in us,
Being consciously and constantly
One with God's Will,
At times does not abide
By morality's strict injunctions.

Božanskom u nama
Treba to isto.
Ali pošto je božansko u nama
Svesno i neprestano
Jedno sa Božjom Voljom,
Ono se katkad ne ophodi
Po striktnim naredbama moralnosti.

Humanity's complete fulfilment
Can and shall dawn
Only when humanity prayerfully,
Bravely and self-givingly
Accepts Divinity
For the sake of Divinity.

Potpuno ispunjenje čovečanstva
Može da osvane i osvanuće
Tek kad čovečanstvo molitveno,
Odvažno i samodajući
Prihvati Božansko
Zarad Božanskog.

"Let Thy Will be done,"
Him to fulfil in His own Way:
This is sincerity's sleepless dream
And breathless reality.

"Neka bude Volja Tvoja,"
Njega da ispunim na Njegov sopstveni Način:
To je besani san iskrenosti
I njena stvarnost bez daha.
